Red Bulls 3, Earthquakes 0: The Review

Strong rain on a cold Saturday night did not prevent the New York Red Bulls from collecting three points against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Here are some quick thoughts about Saturday's game:
  • The Red Bulls stroke early which is important during a poor condition match.
  • Luke Rodger's two goals were important, busting his confidence. A smart desicion for Hans Backe by benching youngster Juan Agudelo for Rodgers.
  • The crowd at Red Bull Arena was getting rusty with Thierry Henry, who had numerous chances to score, but finally stroke his first of the new season in the 87th minute.
What did you think about the match?

  1. Red Bulls just dominated the game. Nice performance from Rodgers.

So far the blog looks good. Already bookmarked it. Cant wait for Thursday against DC.
